What is ISO 29001?

ISO 29001 is especially focused on the oil and gas supply chain and was created as a direct result of a collaboration between ISO and the global oil and gas sector, which is led by the American Petroleum Institute, or API.

The ISO/TS 29001 standard is derived from ISO 9001 and includes additional standards that prioritise the prevention of defects and the decrease in variance and waste generated by service providers.
